I can see that you are quite dedicated to this lets play project: I wish you good luck!

In order to reach a wider audience, perhaps you can use the multiplayer battle feature.

Basically: I've kind of forgotten about it myself but if you notice, brytenwalda should allow you to turn any battle into an online co-op battle, with the options duing the "charge the enemy" screen just before battle.

I've never used that option myself (called "setup multiplayer" or something), and I dont know how it works exactly.
Its kind of a shame, it sounds like it could be a fun tool to use and share your playthrough.

So maybe you can once a week for one or two battles during an episode put up a vent/mumble server and have viewers/people/fans on standby ready to join a game.

Another hint

troops for the battle are picked from the top of your party list, you seem to have a lot of tier 1 and 2 units there which may explain some of your high casualties, try moving your medium and heavy guys up the list, right behind your companions
