Map editor problem

Ok so i have been using the map editor for 2-3 days now. I know how to use the tools in game to make a map and edited the .text file to get a blank map. After i add items/terrain and save, the map will not save for me. When i reopen it only opens the blank "seed" i input into the text file, none of the items/terrain modification saved. Sorry if my description is vague but i am assuming i am missing one little step. Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

arabian harbour day i have also tried other maps just to test if the save works but nothing.

try to start the game as administrator. When I make the maps, if I did not start as an administrator, the game don't save my map.
