Lost my serial key (non-online)

About 1 year ago, i had my Mount & Blade installed with the serial key and all that.

But recently, i got a new computer, grabbed a copy of M&B from taleworlds.com... here's the problem; Of course i can't find my serial key anymore.

Question: Is there anyway to actually find the serial key in the harddrive of my old computer, and how? (I had the 1.011 version).

And where did you get the key the first time?

My friend bought it a long time ago, when he had stopped playing it he informed me about the game.

So he had the code written down on a piece of paper, and after installing the game and typing in the serial key he crumbled the note with the code.

So when he left, the game was installed and serial-key'd. And now he have also lost the code of course.

Is there anyway to copy some kind of file or find the code on my other harddrive?

Shame on you man, buy the damn game!

This is what you need to get your key back but since its not your key you cant.

There is no way you can find it in your harddrive i believe.

In the earlier versions i could actually find my serial key in the game files. But when it got 1.0x i couldn't anymore.
