Looting horses after battle.

I remember that in classic Mount & Blade you would often get horses in the loot after wining a battle. Why doesn't this happen in Warband? Do i need ome kind of skill for this?

True. Capturing armored horses was very useful to get money  and new horses for heroes

Becouse all of them get either killed or run away?

Since version 0.720 or so of beta, it has been impossible to capture horses after combat. I've fought many lords of various factions, as well as plenty of mounted bandits, and have yet to be able to loot a single horse of any type. I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional change, but hopefully it's the former.

Aye, so it's not just me then...

Generally I find the loot off Searaiders and Steppe bandits to be rather poor, compared with "Classic". Back there, when you took on a party of 15 mounted horsemen at least you had something to show for it afterwards.
