I'm looking for some mods to spice up my game. I was looking around for info about the available high quality mods that are out there, but there doesn't seem to be a specific page to go to.
I don't know what I'm looking for because after looking at a lot of threads I still stumble over more and there are no real explanations about what they do, no project sites, no changelogs and no gameplay footage. Finding the relevant mods is like finding a needle in a haystack. Saying it's "Total Conversion" means nothing to me, it's a classification not a description.

I'm using this as an example because that's one instance where you have a plethora of mods to choose from..
Where are the project homepages? Where is the list over acknowledged active projects?
If I've missed it somewhere, fair, but the amount of "I need a mod" posts make it look like things are lackluster at the moment.
