Leaderboard dissapears (frustrating when playing with friends or clan)

sometimes when playing on a server I can be playing along merrily as can be with friends/clan etc. who I can tell are there either via chat or the leader-board(tab) and I lose internet connection then I disconnect from said server, and upon my return to it my leader-board might not work at all (as in pressing tab does nothing/no leader-board is brought up) however it doesn't happen 100% of the time maybe only every so often, however it can still be frustrating as the only fix for it seems to be restarting wb.
