Game version??

When I checked to see what is the newest version today the downloads page said (and still says) : "Mount&Blade: Warband most recent stable version is 1.126. Please use one of the links below to download it (~580 MBytes). "

Now I'm totally confused, did they find a severe bug that suddenly everything after 1.126 is unstable or is the site just messed up or what is happening??

You're probably reading a page that hasn't been updated. The latest is Version 1.131.

aye, i just checked at the homepage here: http://www.taleworlds.com/
and it stays 1.130 on the homepage.
On the download page it does say 1.126, however if you click the download link, it gives you the most recent version, which is actually 1.131. They must've just forgot the update the text, but the link still gives you the most recent stable version.

It is still likely that another patch will come out though
