The title pretty much says it all, I load into a save and can do anything, except unpause, the second that I do the game crashes. the NPC's move only slightly. I have tried to search on all forums but haven't found anyone with a similar sounding issue. I have tried using the steam beta system to use the 1.0.7 patch but it still doesn't seem to want to work.
has anyone seen, heard of this issue and know a way I can fix it?
more info on the scenario:
I had recently left the empire to create my own imperial empire. I then attacked a castle to claim it in order to make my own imperial empire. once taking the castle I paid $50000 to make peace within the empires this then caused an autosave. Then when I went to unpause the game crashed, this was the first time, whenever I load in any world I crash when I try to unpause.
