What gives here? I can not get a est performance over 70% no matter what I do.
It normally sits around 30% and I have no idea why. I should be able to handle this game easily, even with battle size set to 250 and a med/high graphics settings.

Other games I can play with 0 issues,
GTA IV
Crysis
Civ5 (not even a slow down)
Grid
Dirt 2
Just cause 2.
BFBC 2/nam

All of those I can easily max (GTA IV is close to max in most settings) and get a constant solid frame rate. No problem at all.

Yet in nilla warband I get terrible issues, the game doesn't feel like it play rights, it feels slow but according to the FPS in the corner I am getting over 40 and up to 60 (where I cap it) never under 40 ever.

Are there any tweaks I can use to fix this?
There should be no reason I cant get way over 100% perf even on high settings.

No one has any ideas?

The highest I can get is to 50% performance and thats all settings to low/min and in DX 7 or 9. I haven't tried regular M&B too see what its like.

I have estimated performance : 30% (All settings maxed)

Even with 400 soldiers, half are cavs, in front of me, it's still smooth (somewhat 25~26fps when watching all of them fighting xD)
(My PC is inferior to yours : i5 760, 4Gb ddr3, GTX 460)

Whats not working well, it lags or your eyes need a upgrade to see everything on the battleground ? You have 40fps at minimun, you should buy a pair of eyes which can see 40fps.

It must be run normally, you might be feel this very slow. You can change sensitive(in general this cause to feel slow) or change game speed. For peformance calculation there is nothing to do. Perhaps wrong algorithyms

I  have a problem with proformance as well, my game lag bad at everysceen even in the campaign map. Resolution cannot be kick up to my laptop setting and direct x can only be 9. While the graphic is on super lowest i still get that same lag as on highest. My laptop system spec is i5-460M (2.53Ghz,3MB L3 cache, 4cpu with turbo boost up to 2.80Ghz) Nvidia Geforce GT 540M, 4GB DDR3, and Vran is somewhere between 1g-1.7g

Pretty weird to be honest .

I don't know how i run the game with my specs :

AMD Sempron 2500+ @1.75 Ghz ( Single Core )

ATI HD 3600 512 mb RAM

1.5 Gb RAM

Quite a lot below the mentioned Minimum System Requirements in the sites ..
And i get like a 15 - 20 Fps in a server with up to 80 people .. And 30 40 Fps in servers to 30 people

EDIT : Try Turning off your V sync and see the FPS results . Because you depend from FPS not Estimated Performance

bingo, fixed oblivion as well.

they both did the same thing.
mouse in menu was slow, mouse movement was slow. look/turn was slow. game seemed to jump/skip frames.
Both games working great now.

Thanks.
