Haven't tried the new version yet, but the screenshot of the map made me wonder if you put in the right "Straßburg"

The one you put in is a small town in Carinthia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stra%C3%9Fburg,_Austria), but I deem you rather mean the then and still important town (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strasbourg) in the Alsace region which was fought over by france and germany numerous times in history. It was part of the HRE in 1257 though, as was the carinthian town (which was a small market town back then), so the map is still correct.

In german, both towns are called the same, "Straßburg", so I guess it's easy to mix them up.

is the version for warband 1.113 still available(0.95pre6?)?

I only found the version for 1.125, but i really don't like the changes they made(and of course the polearm bug) in 1.125 so i switched back to 1.113.

Don't be confused. If you read the Patch 1.125 discussion in the warband forum you will notice that the devs changed the armor system and increased the power of the rhodok infantry.
I don't know how that will affect the 1257AD mod, but my guess is: It would suffer from the armor changes as well.

In addition there is the polearm-bug.

I thought another thing. I thought that you want 1.113 version, because you are playing pirate version and you have the crack only for 1.113 version.
But if your problem is with the armors, I don't think that it has been changed in this mod, but I am not sure. And yes, polearm bug is annoying.
 
Hmm..its worth a try then.

Its not a pirated version, i already played a few hours in 1.125 and i got my ass kicked all the time because blunt weapons and ranged weapons are now so much more efficient against armor.
Thats the whole reason i read the 1.125-thread, to see if there have been significant changes.
