Hmmm... first of all, I singlehandedly conquered Radoghir Castle today, so thanks for that

New question. Here's the situation. Lord of Praven asks me to kill some raiders before they reach their base etc etc...

I can't find them, so i give up...

10 days later he still asks me how my quest is going. Is there any way to get a new quest from him or am I just screwed? Are the raiders still out there somewhere? What is going on?

I guess this is like the Troublesome Brigands.
They roam. As in, they won't stay still and will follow/attack other parties as per normal.
I find that the best way is to walk in circles in the area. Also helps to have good Spotting skill.

Apart from the loot from the men you slew - nope.

Sure you do. You get just enough for whatever size garrison you station there.
