In Progress Dialog options unavailable

If player asks a settlement citizen on the location of quest character (Missing daughter) and happens to speak to quest character before citizen says "that is the person you are looking for" (phrasing what they say) this causes all dialog options to become unavailable with quest character as the dialog box is frozen in the persuasion bubble box, but no option is able to be selected. Reset and reload of most recent autosave doesn't fix dialog box issues, only thing that fixed was reloading prevoious save an hour before incident occured.

Hello, we are aware of that problem. Our developers are working hard to fix the issue. While we are working on a permanent solution, you can try turning off the game and booting it again.
