The offer is available until September 18th.

Yep, I've convinced myself from trying it out before, so I've decided to refund my Crusader II purchase and get this one instead.

In regards to Stronghold Crusader II, I could have accepted some of the missing features that were otherwise present in its prequel if it wasn't for its horrendous performance. The game is poorly optimized for what it has to render and there is no reason for me to have it in my library. I pity for my original Crusader that came with the bundle though. It's good game which the sequel didn't make justice for.

Assault Squad 2 has some fun multiplayer, btw. The playerbase is small, so wait times in the lobby can be long, but there's fun to be had. If you get into the MP, I'd also suggest giving Robz Realism Mod a try. It overhauls a lot of the mechanics as well as adding a whole bunch of new stuff.

Transport Fever is 30% off on Steam.

Be aware though, the game seems to be having some severe performance issues late game and memory leaks.

You know The Guild 3 comes out tomorrow, right?
Yes, it's probably the reason for the discount in the first place. However, it's still in early access so I don't expect it to be better than Renaissance right away.
Maybe a miracle will happen and it won't be buggy as hell on release. But probably not.

Be aware, if any of you intend to buy the Guild II, don't buy the collection. Renaissance includes absolutely everything the other two versions in the bundle have, and you'll most likely end up with three games that do pretty much the same thing.

Also, the Guild Gold (AKA Europa: 1400) is on sale too. That's the first iteration of the series.

Yes, that's why I said Renaissance is the only one worth buying at the moment.

Note: if you do buy the guild 2 from steam, make sure to get the last patch update from the German forums of the game itself since it's not on steam.

As to The Guild 3, Reviews are mixed.

Steam should have 4.21, but the 4.211 hotfix is not available so here's the link.
