Change or Edit 'Save As/Save' Game File Name?

Is there an option to change or edit the 'save as/save' game file name, as there doesn't seem to be and in the Mount&Blade Savegames > Native folder the files are in a game format that may cause corruption if one were to change the 'sg**' title of the 'SAV File' directly?

Do you want to change the file name only on the folder, or in-game, so it doesn't have your character's name on it? If the latter's the case, it's easy: when you save, just erase the default char name and write whatever you want before clicking "ok".
