Summary: Everything is on the video but I'll explain just to be sure everything is understood:
I've been escorting a caravan for a quest, scouting ahead of them and eliminating the scripted groups of enemies. After eliminating some bandits near Phycaon I reckoned there wouldn't be any more waves before we arrive so I went ahead to enter the city but got immediately halted by a notification stating that my caravan is under attack. I went back only to see my caravan in a fight with a seemingly invisible group of forest bandits. I went back to help them, went into the battle and something really weird happened.
At this point there's a cut in the video, because I started recording manually.
We spawned on the sea raider hideout map - on the opposite side than usually. And it wasn't the only thing that seemed to be reversed. Somehow it was my party + forest bandits against the caravan crew, that spawned as an occupant of the hideout. I wasn't even able to spawn in and started in freelook mode without any way to command my troops. Or rather a singluar horseman who immediately started attacking the caravan crew. Once he died the remaining 'enemies' aggroed onto the bandits and got shot. After all that the escort quest continued as if nothing had happened.
How to Reproduce: Unfortunately I don't have the save file anymore but the issue seemed so interesting I wanted to report on it anyway. I hope the video would be enough.
What I suspect might've happened is that the caravan went over an undetected bandit hideout and somehow got into a fight with it. Either that or the hideout spawned on the exact moment the caravan passed.
