I've brought a boxed copy of warband, and i can't find a serial number (4 digits, in 4 boxes) anywhere in the box, or the manual...

am i just blind, or have i been shortchanged?

hope someone can help!

no-one has had this problem? - i want to get past level 7!

there is an activation key on the back of the manual, but its 5 boxes of 5 digits, rather than 4 by 4.... - someone here said about a weird serial number, but he said he figured it out...

i'm slower than him!

Five segments sounds like it's the Gamer's Gate code. You could try adding it to your GG account (IIRC it's "digital copy" you need), it should add the game to your account and if you're lucky, show a serial number there.

If that is indeed the case, I think someone has ripped you off.
Unless GG actually sells physical copies?

Had the same issue, and you'll most likely have to reinstall it with steam since it will ask for a longer serial number.
