Story
Calradia advances into 20th century and nations are in great war again. Its war between absolutistic monarchies and democracy, between old and new Calradia.
Factions:
Swadian Empire
Leader is Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm Harlaus I. Swadia is absolutistic monarchy under heridetary rule of House of Harlaus.

Union of Vaegir Socialistic Republics
Lead by Premier Vladimir Illych Ulyanov, UVSR is communist dicature, established after Great revolution from 1910, when the old monarchy of Yarogleks were overthrowned by workers.
(WWI Russian theme)

Galian Republic
French theme, led by president Georges Clemencau, liberal democracy.They're Nordic.

Albion Empire
English-like faction, led by king George VIII. but its constitutional democracy.They're Rhodok.

Khergit Federation
Khergits are now united under single banner of Emir Muhammad al-Fazari. They kept their tribal lifestyle and they are now danger to all in Calradia.

No weapons for khergits yet
They will be something like Arabs in WWI, they will have similiar clothing, their faces will be more arabic than mongoloid and they may use Lee-Enfields and M98. They wont have avanced weapons, this will be compensated with more cavalry units (but few in numbers, since horse + sword will be great advantage against uniforms with low armor value).
This would be balanced to power of automatic weapons, we would really need them fully automatic like it was in that video few pages past.

Flamethrower - not yet, all factions will use the same one, it wont be possible to loot it, could be bought for very high price (same for SMGs,automatic rifles and sniper rifles)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is C1914?
A: WWI like mod based in calradia - to explain it: we have predictet historical timeline in calradia and we set it to be very similiar to real world (because native itself is quite similiar to real world 13-14ct. in europe at some point). Weaponry is almost 100% based on real world arms of those times.
Q: Factions in C1914?
A: There are five factions which are successor states of the native factions, some even kept their original names. For their history theres historical timeline on page 61. As described in this timeline, Land of Calradia is not alone in that world. Those major factions explored other continents and builded colonies here, thus making a base for colonial troops that will fight for those states.

When we are using terms like "french rifle", "units for brits" then its because we are using names of the real world counterparts of those factions (Galians would use blue french-like uniforms - described in next question)
Q: Items in C1914?
A: As was mentioned in first Q/A, weaponry will be exactly the same as in WWI, because fabricated weapons wont look so good (we would miss original photos to help us in modeling, quality textures etc.).
There would be number of bolt-action rifles and pistols, grenades, SMG for some nations, automatic rifles (not assault rifles), MGs and even muskets for khergits.
For uniforms it would be same as for weapons, WWI ones. 

Miscelanelous items will be changed for 20th century ones, + system of military decorations giving bonuses to leadership etc. sometimes awarded for completing quests.

Q: Cavalry in C1914?
A: Only minor role, only for Khergits and Vaegirs, still it can be of good use.

Thank you for help. At this Time I just only want a Rifle and Uniforms. Artillery will be in the Future.

Calradian World War one won't have only Rifle. It will have a Shotgun,Submachinegun and Rifle. Uniform will look like a Real World Uniform(Real WW1 Uniform)
I think the scene should have a Wreckages like Tank's Debris and Sandbags. City Scene will look like Original one (No Idea about new scene)

ok, i think that you can count me on for models (except uniforms), i  am highly interested in wwi. One question - i got it in the way that you cant do those things that you requested (models, textures, scenes, code), is that so? Because making a mods on wish is quite unpopular among some sort of people..
 
i see this has gone from request to a planned out mod. if you would like, I will help with my noob skills. (i'll also ask galiopoli creator if you could use his models et cetera)

really? i think submachine gun should be really rare, if implemented. I don't think you can have rapid fire in M&B anyway, making it a rifle that holds 30 rounds.

I think the basic 'rifleman' unit for each faction should be armed with their national variation of:

rifleman:
rifle
bayonet variation of rifle

submachine gunner:
submachine gun
knife

trench guardian (close range fighter):
shotgun (they had trench shotguns in wwi)
spiked club (a lot stronger/faster than bayonet)

officer (serve no real purpose  :smile: untrainable, just to give NPC parties a realistic feel):
sabre
pistol

cavalry (everyone tried to use horses for the first bit of wwi):
long ass lance
sabre

ranged cavalry:
sabre
pistol


take into consideration, please.

as for the submachine guns, since there was no m1 thompson, ppsh or mp40 in wwi, we'd have to come up with some old-style smg's, like
mp10 (mp40 = mp in 1940, so mp10 = mp in 1910 for germans
m09 (1909) thompson for americans
ppk (ppsh = machine pistol some guy's name with the initials sh, so we can make k into some name) for russians
turkish - who knows, maybe they could use mp10

germans - Bergman MP18 - real one, introduced on the end of war to german special assault troops

americans - there really wasnt M1Thompson which is wwii thingie, but there was Thompson M1919 (predesesor of M1921), i think we can have this weapon in, but theres also BAR1918, which was used in wwi

there was italian sub machine gun like weapon, used by land forces as either light machine gun or sub machine gun

How About this Idea.
Three Factions.
1.Alliance of Calradia (Rhodokian-Nordic Alliance have American-British Theme)
2.Alliance of Reyvadin Pact (Vaegir-Khergit Alliance have an Communism Theme)
3.Swadian Reich (have an German Theme)
 
1. New animations has to be done - prone and kneel shooting positios.
2. If you want to use XX century rifles, even bolt-action, Cavalry becomes obsolete.
3. because of no personel armor exept metal helmets and ROF on even B/A rifles it will be hard to survive...

If you like the period I think the best idea about M&B mod is some part of Russian Civil War - a lot of cavalry, leak of modern artillwry and MGs, maneverable not position war. I have idea on mod about RusCivWar in Central Asia in early 20-s - Ferghana Valley - reds VS local muslim militants, russian and british firearms, horses, sabers, small units war....

2) there needs to be some kind of close range weapon to be used in the trenches, the shotgun was best. though i didn't know that it wasn't widely used. maybe a pistol, then?

1. i don't think any of us know how to do that. we could try of course.
2. cavalry was used in the first bit of wwi, and would add to variety. you won't have huge armies made up of cavalry because they'd get shot by rifles. they'd be strategically used, eg. get riflemen to engage enemy, get cav to follow you and flank enemy from behind.
3. yep. we could have trench scenes, where the battlefield is 2 adjacent trench systems, which will add protection.
I like your idea for a mod, and i suggest you launch it as well (i'd help you).

and toonnight, factions are up to you as you started this up.
I think the english/american/french faction should have french troops trainable because they were much unique to brits/americans.

they had their blue trenchcoats and such.

last months of WWI in europe were quite actionfull..

ok, first: theres no need to implement anything related to calradia, it could be normal WWI mod. Battles would be same as sieges in vanilla - one side attacking x one defending (both would have trenches as starting position).

trenches either it could be one big long hole (easiest) or i can make proper trench model and put it on that "big long hole"
town scenes wont be hard to do, they could have trenches instead of walls

about that trenchman
2) trench mace or so is enough, it would be much more powerfull than regular bayonet. Shotgun is hard to make i guess

is there someone for textures and perhaps code??
