Busse won't move in naval battle?

My skeid that I start out with worked just fine, when I upgraded to a busse with 13 ( sailors+87 soldiers my ship wouldn't move at all in naval battles. The busse won't turn or advance and I just have to wait for them to come to me as the skeid races out ahead of me (I can't order it to stay next to me) and gets destroyed.

Also, I really would you could capture ships. Would make killing viking raiders etc. a lot more profitable.

Examine the condition of your ship.
Some brand new ships will come in "poor" condition and move VERY slowly.

When i first got my second ship i didnt realize this and was wondering why my other ship would fly into battle while i just floated there.
