How bout a bulletin board in taverns for hunting down particular bandits? So players would select which type of bandits to hunt. Higher rewards means bandits are harder with more units in parties. These criminals would be under a leader. Once completed players can gain more relations with that town and some notables.

Sounds interesting, basically a bounty system... It would help with some of the sheer GRIND for reputation being able to just find all their quests listed in one place, that was actually how you could get some quests back in Warband: you would find a desperate farmer seeking help in a tavern, agree to help and off you go. This would actually give taverns more use.

Taverns atm don't have anything to do, I don't think i've stepped into the tavern ever sine they added the quick menu. But yea like in warband.

And if they don't want to model a bulletin board they could add it as some sort of dialog option from the tavernkeeper, maybe with some flavor text like: This group of ''bandit faction'' has been terrorizing ''village name'' surroundings, the headman ''headman name'' there decided to raise a bounty on his own, but said he didn't have the coin and could only pay with X ''village production type''

or if the village is bound to a castle from a good lord: Lord ''Lord name''s men passed here earlier today, announcing a reward of X denars for anyone that puts down a group of ''bandit factions'' that has been causing his village,''village name'', trouble this ''season of year''. They also mentioned that whoever brings the leader of the bandits, called ''name'' alive would also receive a special piece of his personal armory.
