I installed the mod (version 2.54) at a MB version 1.53 in the \modules folder several times under different names.
At the start screen i got in the drop down menu is just "Native" aviliable.
Any ideas?
With the installer you should point to your main Warband folder when installing. And wit the 7zip just drop it here: Mount&bade Warband\Modules\ Here
When you are done Floris should be located like this: Mount&blade Warband\Modules\Floris Basic, Gameplay, Expanded.

That is not the rgl.log but the rgl.config you are in your documents folder not the games folder, rgl.log is located in this location (may vary depending on where you installed the game) C\programfiles\Mount&blade Warband  or  C\programfiles\steam\steamapps\Mount&blade Warband
 
What about your display device? Look under the Display tab of the dxdiag. I'm blind.

I can't see anything wrong with that either, that's.. quite odd.

ALTHOUGH, The 650 is basically the 560 except with only half of the video memory, so that might be a problem. Especially because your graphics settings look rather high.
 
I am not certain if this is a floris issue, a warband issue, or i broke something in my editing...

i doubt it is in the editing, since i returned everything that may have caused it to their backups, but i still have the issue.

i am using 2.54 expanded.

enemies no longer reinforce/group up/join battle... specifically, i have today encountered a forest bandit leader and a sea raider leader, and both times, they run faster than me, so i had to fight them... and i had to fight them one group at a time. 36, then 49, then 34, then 89, etc. previously, i would encounter one, and i would get the message "sea raiders have joined the battle on X side" or something similar, and fight all the groups at once.

this is annoying to go through them one at a time, with low renown per battle, and low bonus loot chance, and such.

any ideas what may cause this?
 
I had this Al problem when i joined the Nords as mercenary. We fought sa defenders against 1200 units of Swadia in a siege battle.
The Al was so stupid that they totally ignored 4 ladders and constantly come  at the same one, and got beat down with approximately 24 units of nords on the upper side of the leaders. I saw this "band" of nords killed around 200+ units, with a few units coming to reinforce them. And at the same time their archers stood in the yard, disregarding the fact that the walls wore completely free.

In this game the Al is so firkin dumb it hurts and  spoils the entire game.

I was beginning to wonder is there a mod who enhanced AL behavior?
All the things i sad are in the picture. The "nord wild bunch" , archers down on the left, behind the walls and totally useless, and the attackers coming constantly on one single ladders.

Oh, i forgot to mention the fact that, at the end of the battle the single peasant unit left for the attackers in front of the wall next  to leaders, and because non of nords was truing to kill him, i had to retreat the battle although we kill all of them and they kill around 40% of us.

no.... i mean on the world map...

with the bandit leader, there is like, 10 or so "groups" of bandits... one group of 40ish, one of 50ish, one of 100ish, etc... when i got into a battle, they used to all join together so i got them all in one battle... now i have to fight each group individually.

not talking about in a battle, but in the middle between map and battle... "you have X soldiers fit for battle against their X" ..... i want their X to be in the hundreds like it used to be, because they all joined the battle into one huge group, rather than having to fight ten separate battles of crap renown and crap loot, lol

EDIT: Same issue with mountain bandits... sea bandit leader near tihr, forest bandits near ryibelet, and mountain bandits near etrosq castle... all of them were leaders with numerous small groups that didn't band together... and i fought them in multiple separate battles.... lords joined together, however... so it is not an issue with banding... just with the bandits banding....

it also seems like they are more aggressive... chasing me when they should be running....

I have just installed the Floris Expanded Mod Pack 2.54 and it's really an awesome work. I'm on the 1.158 native.

I did not had crashes, but I did had red lines appering each time I check the character and companions in reports.

5-6 lines of text appear saying something's wrong, each time I select my character (not happening on companions). In kinda bother me as it's a very useful tool...

I saw others already posted that bug, but I haven't seen answers on what to do...

Every time I try to start this mode it gets to the loading screen then crashes to an error message that says (RGL ERROR: get_object failed for texture: ext_itm_helmet_sar_t7_veiled_C_normal) what does this mean, and can somebody help me fix it please?

Hello, i using steam warband, so it alway install v1.158 , i think i play the game quite fine, although still have ocasion crash when Alt-tab to deshtop, how ever , after play quite a long time, i discover there is a issue , seem there is something wrong, i can't open the inventory , item pool or check other equipment. everytime i try to open those stuff it crash immediately

I don't know does that happen because i using v1.158 or not , (i have 4G ram)
 
Hey, first off, great work on this, have been playing this for so long now and still not tired off it.
To the point though, i was fooling around with Morghs changing items and such and made a mistake where i couldnt start the game, so started the native module just to check if it started (it did - started a game - looked at all banners and chose one then quit).
Then after some hours of going through every item and troop i had tampered with i found an empty item slot in one of troops (had deleted items earlier).
Fixed it, started the game but now the problem is that about 30% of all the banners are incredibly low on detail compared to what they were before (pixelated and cant really see well on the banners with alot of details) its not focused on set banner.dds files but pretty randomed sections of it (like banner 5 to 9 in X file and banners 3-5 and 7-10 in Y file).

Ironically none of those banners are actually ones i use but im the type of person that hooks up in small details like these... could be that they were always low on detail and i just never noticed it before. Im the type of person - that once i notice something i just cant get ahead without fixing it, as long as i dont notice it its great, played with the rifles a few days until i saw the reload animation... since then i just cant use them since all i see is that faulty reload...
anyway, the banners just look so different compared to the others around them in the mod that they just look out of place

I opened up the banner.dds files, and in there they look good, but when i get ingame they look like they just went from 1000 to a 500 (resolution)... thats what gets me off track... they look nice in paint.net, but doesnt look like that in the game so not sure how it can be fixed

I think it has something to do with starting up the native module because if it isnt then im stuck.

so far ive reinstalled floris but it didnt make any difference.
using v1.153 on vista if it matters

(on another note - i noticed that there are some banners there that doesnt show up ingame at all ?)
will take some pictures tomorrow if i get the time for it but figured id make a post about it in case this has been encountered before (looked around but couldnt find anything about it though - will see if i can edit it to put the ingame banner and the .dds one next to each other)
 
Hi i dont know if this is the correct thread, if not forgive me.
I have being playing with floris, best warband mod imo.

I have a question: last version, when im battling with peasants on army, there is something that looks strange: peasant clothes looks very shine, like there is a shine like on armors; the clothes looks like silk, like every peasant uses silk!
This is by design or is the result of some kind of setting on my game? If this is by design, what files should i look to remove it? Thanks.

The problem I get is script error when entering camp menu after giving the fief without master to the liege of faction. It seemed alright, and thus ignored it. However, there is something different with the save file which is made after the script error happened. It would load normally, but when entering the camp menu, the game just suddenly crashed and closed.

The problem I get is script error when entering camp menu after giving the fief without master to the liege of faction.
Didnt quite understand this. Which fief to what liege of which faction?

Overall it seems that you stumbled over a serious bug. As Floris isnt being actively developed anymore, there is little to be done. Windy had expressed some interest to release a final bugfix version so i ll notify him of your report (thanks for sharing it in a detailed manner). I dont think it will fix things for your current game though.
 
I'm currently playing a single player game with Floris Expanded, have my own kingdom, doing well, then I noticed 3 bandit or deserter warbands with 1000+ soldiers 2 of which had 3000+ soldiers.... Not sure what is causing this, it's annoying because my caravans are never safe when traveling, they are made of usually the same type of unit I found one with 3500+ Swadian Pages, then one with 1000+ with a variation of Rhodok soldiers. I would definitely appreciate any help with this.
