I am finding it very difficult to be rewarded new lands.  Been fighting for the crusaders for 90 days and have taken much territory in that time.  We have wiped out the mamluks and are now working on the IlKhanate.  My relationship with the king is around 20 but the only way I can increase my rep with him is to ask him who he thinks should get a fief and then agree with him.  Even if I don't do this I won't get any territory anyways.  Seems very difficult to increase estates. All I own is the one village I started with. Is it supposed to be that hard?

Also, forgot the exact name of the castle but the one that starts with M between Damietta and Cairo causes CTD when going to battle.  That is the only CTD i have expereinced so far so GOOD JOB.  Also map lag is practically nonexistant with phenom 1090T  3ghz 6 core CPU  :lol:
 
Participate in every successful siege your faction conducts.  After the siege is over, you can get +1 relationship with every other Lord that participated by talking to them immediately afterward.  It's a great way to get reputation quickly.  For example, by the time the HRE eliminated Denmark, I had 7 or higher relation with every Lord in the faction.  That may not sound that high, but it serves as a good starting point.  It's important to talk to everyone before they disperse.  You can lose that +1 from the siege if another conversation topic takes its place.

Here's a short list of what I've used to gain rep:
Post siege conversation (gives +1 or +2)
Assisting an NPC Lord while he is fighting (gives +1 or higher depending on the fight balance)
When the King has lands to give out, always support his choice.  (gives +1 Rep with the King and +2 with the Lord receiving your vote)

The Marshal is the easiest person in the Kingdom to gain reputation with.  In addition to the three I just mentioned, every time you join the army you get +1, and you get at least a +2 for every mission you complete while you're on follow (1 or accepting and 1 on completion).

It takes a little patience, but by turn 100 or so for me, I had 2 villages awarded to me without requesting them, as well as a castle.  I got a second castle after I solo conquered it and requested it as a reward.  This doesn't even require completing any extra missions for the NPC Lords, which means all of these gains are guaranteed, and don't take any special effort on your part.
 
i noticed that hold your fire command in sieges does notheng..they just wont listen...stupid pricks..lol
and switches my weapon to melee..wtf..lol
and considering post below...my constable is going swiming or something since he is naked...hahahha
 
Couple of things, first a bug, after becoming lord of castle or town, and getting a Constable, I ask him to upgrade troops, he upgraded them into a single unit of me...an NPC with my name/equipment/presumably skills. This happens once, then he proceeds to continue upgrading units into "me" again essentially destroying the unit. The "me" character is quite interesting as he acts like a King of a realm, but will not leave the castle or do anything else a normal NPC would.

Otherwise I love the mod, and have found very few things that are extremely bothersome, I have seen some NPCs talk about things from the native game. Which can make them really incoherent with what they want.

Also from another post I saw, while I like the unique unit names for their respective regions it can be very difficult to figure what kind of unit you are reading about. But this should be cured for most people after playing the game for a while, they will learn. Great mod, makes M&B great!
 
I can´t enter in the castles of Jaca or Castelciutat. I suppose this is because they are near mountains. One road between the alpes is impassable. I can´t recruit cavalryman in the castles of my faction, when I become member of one faction. When I go by boat, my caravan go in horse in the middle of the sea.

I have any bugs with the 1257AD mod, when I  do latest quest of merchant of Paris, in the town while we kill the last ennemy, he's behind a wall and invisible, the allies hit the wall.

I must wait 3-5 min for he's die.



The second bug, when I leave a battleground for escape, the game freezing and he close.

Did you read the FAQ and did you enable load textures on demand?
 
Most of the time music is not playing. I tried with native music and with additional pack - 90% is just silence. This is not right I think. Kind of dull travel across Europe in silence.

ogg files are in place in /Music folder

Music.txt is unchanged in mod's folder

I have no idea where to look else.

Please advice.

Not sure if there are reported.
And also I'm using ver1.132, haven't downloaded fixing patch for this mod yet and I'm not sure if it is this mod or me.
I'll try to test if playing with texture settings will fix the second bug and then update if it does.

1. At the start during a mission where you need to protect the city one bandit is inside wall? (Merchant mission)
So the other citizens will try to punch the wall. So winning the mission is pretty pain in ass since killing the last one is hard. (Althought they managed to kill him somehow..)

2. This one came two times when entering battlefield. It was RGL error and said something like too many polygons and split the mesh.
I'll write the exact code later.
