We have fixed it after the release. Can you check if the game is updated? There should be a page called Downloads and Updates in the Windows Store. Can you check if the game is updated on there?
Can you try running the game as administrator? You can search Warband in the search bar on Start menu of windows and right click to it -> More -> Run as admin.
I've tried restarting a few times before, but I just restarted again to make sure anything from my updates didn't click in. Still have the same problem.
