This list was made by my own intention. All characters in this list may be used in the game, they don't have to.
So if you find a person in this list, it doesn't mean it will appear in the game.
Normally the Yellow one's are the one's that aren't in the game  :???:

Each faction-spoiler got 3 paragraphs and  4 colors.
Each paragraph/color is another sort of person:

I try to be usefull to the makers of this mod.
Help for searching characters is appreciated or if you see a mistake, just post it nice and non-offensive in a post. I'm just a human 2

Leader, first paragraph
Vassal,  second paragraph
Claimant,  third paragraph
Added Characters by Swordyke: Can be 1st, 2nd or 3d paragraph

And to be historical correct: Spain and HRE are allies.
Both the emperor and the king are friends and familie.
Ernesto Montecuccoli with his army(especially Italian and Croatian men)

Can be used as NPC , Spanish patrol or Spanish Vassal.
He is Scottisch btw.

Reino de España

Duque de Alba

Comandante Fadrique Álvarez de Toledo
Comandante Sancho Dávila y Daza
Duque de Medinaceli
Comandante Sancho de Londoño

Spinola He wasn't in Flandes until 1602

Stadhouder Rennenberg who is he?

Uhm, from wikipedia: "The army of the duke of Alba was composed by 5000 Spanish, 6000 Germans and 4000 Italians."

If not yellow it aint mine :p

And that the army of The Duke was full with Germans was normal.
HRE and Spanish Kingdom were friends.

And it looks like that Italians were mercenaries at that time

Not yours, ok... ok, well, the two you added:

Conde Paul-Bernard de Fontaine, was born in 1577 more or less, I don't think they would be there when the Duque de Alba was in Flandes (he left Flandes in 1573, I think...)
Luis de Zúñiga y Requesens: he was the governor of Flandes after the Duque de Alba left the place (an order from Felipe II). So they can't be at the same time.

And... this is the Raimondo Montecuccoli you are talking about? He was born in 1608, not valid for the mod. From Ernesto Montecuccoli, I have find something, but from the things I've understand (just a bit), he didn't where in Flandes, but I can be wrong... or can be other Ernesto Montecuccoli.

Also, I haven't find anything about any Archibald Campbell that were in Flandes in that moment.

Well, that quote from the wikipedia was just a note, nothing else, there were many tercios compossed by Italians and Germans.

Raimondo was never notified. Stadhouder Renneberg was a supporter of the Spanish, not a Spaniard himself. But thanks for the names, will use them.

Ok, I was thinking about Stadhouder Rennenberg as a supporter (as other did, for sure) but I didn't find anything about him... Uhm, if there are more Spanish supporters, I think they could be used to complete the list of faction lords.

There were enough lords who supported the Spanish. The Capitains list I added to fill up the gaps for the bèta.

Ok

Well, I think the 12 lords I posted, and 8 supporters more, or as many as you need... would be ok.

Paul-Bernand de Fontain, in the dutch wikipedia, was a Spanish Infantry Commander in the 80 years war.

I just putted Luis in, not really historical correct but just for a claimant. He came AFTER ALBA, jups, that Why I took him.

Woops Raimondo is wrong, it's only Ernesto.
And yes he was in Flanders. He was an ally of Spain(sended by the emperer of the HRE)

Yep, Paul-Bernard fought for the Spanish Empire, but he was born after Duque de Alba left Flandes.

And, ehm... I don't think Luis de Zuñiga would be in the mod, even as a claimant. If you really want to add him, he could be the Marshall, won't be historically correct, but...

Ah, well, as I said, I could be wrong about Ernesto, because I didn't understand a word of that web (I used the translator to English of google, and not with the whole page)... well, one more lord for the Spanish faction. 7 left (6 if you add Luis de Zuñiga, but... :???:).

I just want to find a claimant :p

And I thought the mod was the WHOLE 80 years of war :p

Whole war? uff, that's to much! think that, in game time, you play more or less 2 or 3 years...

I don't think is a good idea to add a claimant for the Spanish Empire. In Flandes there were only a Spanish  general, and he was selected by the king, so I don't think there must be a claimant... as it would be an act of betrayal.

Love betrayal :p

Problem is, 2 or 3 years aint that mutch to find enough NPC's and stuff for in the mod, you have to admit, no?

Yes, I know that's not too much time, but in the time of the mod there were many people fighting there, as you see we have at least 12 spanish commanders, and many NPCs... and I think it would be the same for the other factions...

I have set the time of the mod in 1571, more or less on, to find people easier, and all of the guys I've posted before were there by the same time the Duque de Alba was in Flandes. I don't know, I didn't have too many difficulties to find them out...

It shouldn't be a mayor problem if the NPC's existed in that period of the war or not. The gameplay is more important than the hisotical accurcary except if that person would be really important etc.
