Banners?

Having some problems with banners. When I make a new faction, the new King does not have a banner but the new lords do, why is this? Also how do I assign faction banners/symbols?

In game_start script each kingdom is assigned a banner, immiediately after that banner is assigned to the king

Any advice for changing this with just the text edit? Like JUST switching the default banners to differnt lords?

It is a complex script and I don't think its possible with text files.
