Resolved Banner Sigil Color Selections Change to Background Color Selections After Joining a Faction

Summary: After joining a faction, the selection of “sigil colors” available becomes the selection of pre-joining a faction “background colors”. I tested this by joining the Vlandians and Southern Empire as a mercenary and achieved the same result. But looking back at my other characters, I see the same result from joining other factions as a vassal as well if that matters.
How to Reproduce: Join a faction and go to the banner editor.

This still happens. The sigil also changes color to the same as the joined faction no matter how many times I fix it.
