Like all other popular societies, especially online ones, they're now a bunch of wannabes attracted to the badassness of being part of this particular movement. I can't say I mind them nearly as much as a lot of other people, though.

Not really...scientologists force their will upon other if you do some research. They are also extremely brainwashed, and cases of death caused by extreme malnutrition and locking up of members etc have appeared.
