Activation on Steam?

I originally purchased my version of Warband through the Taleworlds website, but have since then gotten heavily in to Steam. So I was curious if its at all possible to activate or integrate my copy in to steam? I figured id be able to do it somewhere on steam using my serial key, but no luck so far. I tried searching but my query is a bit broad and I didnt see any relevant results.

Try this:

1) Open Steam
2) Via the toolbar: Games>Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library...
3) Select your chosen game(s) and click Add Selected Programs
4) Profit!

I just tried this with Battlefield 2 and it seems to have worked.

Yeah but this doesnt really integrate it with steam. I.e. I cant earn achievements, cant join friends' games through it, etc. You can do that with any game or program. Thanks though.
