I think that the clan leader should gain daily experience for every profitable workshop they own. It can be at the same rate as gaining trade exp by selling, which is 1 exp per 2 denars profit iirc. I suggest gaining exp via workshops rather than caravans because our decisions and trades does influence the workshop income whereas most, if not all of the revenue from caravans occur due to the companion's skills, which in turn gives the companion trading exp. Another suggestion is to switch 2 perks in the same level of the trade tree to give +1 companions and +1 workshop limit to make the tree stronger.
