Thank's but after some quick googling, it looks like they are flintlock weapons, so to say early 17 th century and too late for the mod period, i guess i will reproduce those gun's ornaments and shape on matchlocks rifles of the late 16th
When I found this helm on internet, it was said to belongs to Boabdil, the last king of Granada. But when I saw it IRL in Madrid, nothing about its belonging to Boabdil was written. It is weird. Do you have sources speaking about it Matmohair ?
the moors in Spain adopted European great helms helmets since the thirteenth century
then sallets and breastplates by the 15th , some were also imported from Italy & elsewhere
Some new clothing for the moors/berbers/moroccans , the white thing on the top isn't mail but cloth Thank's to kuauik for the model, and this made me think i should add some credit to the first page
They look really good. Otherwise, why do you say "moors/berbers/moroccans" ? The name Moor is sufficient, it designates all Western Muslims, whatever their race.
But moroccans are a nation, whereas Berbers are an ethnic group which is present from Morocco to Egypt.
Otherwise, from what I have read, in terms of race the most numerous group in Morocco is Berbers, then mixed Arab-Berbers and then Arabs. There is also a considerable Black African ancestry due to slavery and also Iberian blood because of Andalusi diaspora.
