Absolutely agree with

Regardless of the encrusted communication problem, the class system, lack of modes, servers and stability issues...etc; I will say that as of today something as fundamental as the combat system that is supposed to work at this stage of the game 100%, does not.
But some of you will say, -Terco the devs incorporated the parameters in almost a carbon copy; -yes and it's not enough. The line of cooperation between dev-community should never have been broken; I'm talking about the
Mister out of time master server. That environment was a testing platform to make the Bannerlord combat experience a better place, with no other hidden agenda.
This was unfortunately interpreted as a direct attack on their creative vision, as if the members of Betalords intended to compete directly with the devs to see who could make a better MP. That was shut down, and with it an extremely important line of connection for dev-community feedback was lost.
Now it's too late. And also this is clearly reflected in SP too... just look at the plummeting activity graphs on Steam. An incomprehensible debacle.
Taleworlds should have provided two testing platforms and thus brought together specialised players (vets) to provide honest feedback. One platform for the competitive skirmish mode and one for captain mode; both with tailor-made and separate atmospheres and balance.
This was not done and now it is too late. An EA development that should have been an enjoyable waltz-style dance has turned into a hodgepodge of dance styles where you are just stepping on each other's toes and dancing circles around the fire. In this way neither learning nor progress is made.
