My only grievance with the console version is encountered during castle or town assaults. It revolves around the inability to direct my troops to focus their efforts on specific tasks. I wish for the capability to instruct them to attack the gate for a breach, to refrain from using ladders, and to assign particular groups to operate siege engines. Regrettably, there is no dedicated button on the console to facilitate these commands.

On the PC, you can"2" (archers) then press the left mouse button to click on a terrain location, then the archers will move to that place. But I understand what you want, more control of the army. Yes, PC owners would like that too.

Funny thing is, if your defending, the siege AI is very good, sending soldiers to right places, at the right time. You just set-n-forget, no micro managing. This is good as you just want to put as many arrows as possible into ladder-climbers
