Hi guys, sorry for RK's dropping out. Tried to make it work with my busy schedule but couldn't, and there wasn't much will to continue without the in-game leader present, my apologies.
I am going to regret this but...Fietta said:Btw in future tournaments, since you've put some strict stupid rules on names, I also suggest that when teams are 're nl', the opposing team can't go to your spawn whilst you're sorting classes and drops. If they randomly come over, they'll know exactly what you're doing. This isn't a problem in group stages but for knockouts it can pose a problem.
It's not even a strict rule. It's just never really been enforced in previous tournaments and players have become accustomed to using whichever name they want.Fietta said:Btw in future tournaments, since you've put some strict stupid rules on names
Once all the money is gathered we'll count, and if we consider it's enough to split we definetly would set a prize for 2nd place. But with the size of the rosters and the quantity presented, I can guarantee that unless something unexpected happens there won't be for a 3rd place.Fietta said:How's the prize pool being distributed?
No, they did not do the same thing that Bruce did, checking all the logs, they never got to play a single round with that ID, they just mistook on the sign up and mixed ids just on forum, so we didn't have a reason to ban the players but only the ID. Bruce on the other hand did play last official with the ID already played by different subjects on previous tournaments, and as rules state, if it happens, we're FORCED to ban him, because rules state it that way.HKP said:So Scarta and Hursty did the same thing Bruce did. Both IDs are banned but they get off with a warning and Bruce gets banned for the entire tournament?
He surely **** up not checking his key before but that seems a bit harsh.

Charlini said:-Added the ID 689147 and the player 'Bruce' From GR both as permanent bans. ID as it's clearly not unique and therefore banned, and Bruce because he actually got to play with this ID last official, after it has been used in officials on other tournaments. Unfortunetly, any of the players who played with that ID on the past, are not in our tournament, so we can't set any punish to them besides banning the ID. The only case would be Arni but he never got to play a single official round on an official of any tournament with that ID, as the addition itself of the player got rejected by Deacon on that specific tournament back on the day.
Theorically, yeah, he shared it with many people, but he didnt get to play any tournament with it, if it was just arni's ID, Bruce wouldn't be banned, but the thing is that the ID was shared with more than one guy, and there's people who played on different tournaments with that ID, the most recent case Mous, in WSC1Hero_of_Ferelden said:But it's Arni's ID?
This is actually unexpected, as you can see here https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,368791.msg8831284.html#msg8831284 , Saw an addition with this same ID that bruce used, so i went straight to week 5's match and saw that Mous played, assumming that it's based on that same ID. Didn't even consider that he had another one. The only reason that Bruce is actually banned, is because following the rules if the ID is found that has been played before, we have to insta ban the player. So what I'm gonna do now is check if there's any ID screenshot over unity matches, and in case of absence of ID proof or which key he actually used to play, he shall be unbanned(not the ID though).Hero_of_Ferelden said:
As much as I dislike bruce, this decision taken by the admin team is based on something objective, which is the fact of him being found playing under another ID, and cause and consequence written on the same rules that were even reminded last week. Trying to apply the rules over a tournament with this quanity of IDs and names is hard, if Aeronwen finds something we look over it and deliver the punishment based on what rules stablish. So instead of taking another chance to throw another unproductive post Fietta, stay quiet and we'll review this case ourselves.Fietta said:
I actually do agree, and I think this rule must have been reworked before the tournament started, noone did any complain about it, and as in many previous tournaments there weren't many problems because of it I didn't consider editing it viable aswell. Editing rules mid-tournament is not an option, one of the reasons why WNL6 involved so much unfixable drama. So for now I'll handle Bruce's case today and after that we'll see what happens regarding this type of scenarios where people have shared IDs.HKP said:and the point is not that he gets punished. But for the rest of the tournament is hella over the top
