she's the wife, why one should pay her as a common mercenary?

if it's OP to early game. marriage requirements should be increased/altered. even warband required 10k-20k denars (the amount varied depending on renown, i think. but can't remember the lower end. please correct it if it's wrong) to get married.

Thanks for the report. I get what you're saying from the RP aspect but it just seems to have such a low impact on the game. As such we won't be looking into this change.

Besides, NPC99 pointed it out well above that family has living expenses as well if you need to justify it RP-wise.
