Why is warband so much more laggy than M&B?

Coming from playing the original mount and blade, Warband feels really laggy to me. I am finding it a lot more difficult to shoot a bow and fight in general because the mouse just seems to lag. Not to a massive degree, but enough for it to effect me. It's not my FPS that's the problem, I get 60fps always.
So I wanted to know if anyone felt any difference in the mouse between M&B and warband, and of there was any way I could get the mouse in warband to behave the same. It's not the mouse sensitivity that's the problem either.

There is a turn speed limit imposed on Warband (so you can't do 360 noscopes), that might be what you're experiencing.

You should try turning off Vsync, that introduces some input lag.  There's also an option for a frame limiter, I have mine set to 120 instead of 60.

Ah, thankyou! Once I turned off Vsync the input lag was eliminated completely.
Now I can have fun playing warband again
