What’s the point of not being able to recruit minor faction troops the traditional way?

I get u can capture then recruit them but wouldn’t it be better if you could speak to the clan leaders and request troops the same way u can buy regular mercenaries in taverns or have a area on the map that acts as a mercenary company. “ The headquarters “ which is just a town or spot where all the mercenaries meet to look for rich nobles to sell their sword to, there’s soo much space on the map u can literally put it at the edge of the world if u wanted.
