Heya everybody! I have been quite silent on my forum post ever since the first alpha test. However, I have a very large content update with screenshots to show off the new additions to the mod. So let's start with the new content (Screenshots in spoilers).
Takeda Changes
So based on popular request, I have retextured the takeda ashigaru armors to be less bright and obtrusive.
Oda Changes
Next up, the Oda have two additions. Firstly, their armors have been retextured to look a little darker and more metallic and the backplates on the oda ashigaru light armor has been changed to yellow from its original red color, to make the armor feel more "Oda-like" and eliminating the possibility of confusing oda ashigaru players with takeda ashigaru players. Secondly, the naginata has been changed to a higher res and better looking model.
New Features
New Faction Joins the Battlefield: Tokugawa
So after about a month of work, I've managed to create the next faction for the game, the Tokugawa. The Tokugawa Clan banner, custom classes, new armors, weapons, and unique features have all been added in this content update. Like the Oda and the Takeda, the Tokugawa have their own unique feature that comes with them as a clan. In this mod, the Tokugawa will be the masters of the nodachi, a large two handed Japanese blade that is the size of a greatsword. Check out the screenshots in the spoiler below for a peak at the Tokugawa Clan.

Though, I can not seriously stress how happy this makes me. I should really start checking up on this forum more often, least I miss something like this. I could go on and on about how I have been dreaming of this exact project to come along from somebody, but at this point the shock has yet to fully set in. Therefor all I can do is wish you the most sincere luck and success on the project from the bottom of my sengokuphile heart.
I eagerly and wholeheartedly await the public release. In the mean time I need to capture my buddies with ninja and force the idea of a clan down their throats.

Hello guys, just putting a brief mod update here. Since I'm the only person working on this mod, I've had to focus alot on development and less on posting new updates on the forum page. Here's what's been going on with the project recently.
1. After the 2nd closed alpha test, the mod has been balanced a very large amount and a few new weapons have been added to each of the classes to increase the variety of choices for players.
2. Crouching has been added to the game! (Screenshot in Spoiler)
3. The second map for the game, The Three Forts (Tentative Name) has been added. This map is designed for battle, conquest, and capture the flag and I'm hopeful it will be used in a few events once the mod is released to the public. (Screenshots in Spoiler)

I really want this mod! I waited for about a year for a mod called Japan in flames to come out. It never did. Looked really good though. One thing I might say, that mod a whole lot more content. Or at least had a "coming soon" section. Even if not for definite, Id suggest putting everything you would like to add. Even if its not in the first release.
Not knocking progress though! Only saw this in a signature and I'm impressed with it so far. Keep it up! Soon I shall be slaying Takeda scum upon the battlefield

Good luck, this looks interesting! But you should definetly change maps, they don't look like Japan
