Need More Info Warband not starting

i've been trying for a couple of days reading forum threads and other people's post about similar problems but i can't get it done.
i've bought the steam version, downloaded it and it won't even launch the game.
I've uninstalled it.
i've downloaded a version from the site but it won't launch at all.
It appears in my task manager but i can't even end it

What is your pc specs?
Have you installed any mods or subscribed to any mods on Steam Workshop?

no mods at all nor subscriptions on the workshop.
ryzen 7 5700g, gtx 1650, 32 gb ram

Could you try deleting the documents Warband folder and verifying the game files?

i have the same issue since last week, i have tried all possible way (re-install clean data, unsub workspace, delete registry, delete roaming files) but nothing helps

i don't have any "documents" folder for warband

Windows 11, steam version not opening, TaleWorlds version exe file is just not opening as well.

HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS 11!!!

"I solved this problem because I found your "Current language for non-unicode programs" should match your game's default language. e.g. You set up a chinese Mount&Blade but your non-unicode programs is English or others, your computer can't compile your game. Go "setting" - "Time & Language" - "Region" - "Additional date, time & regional settings"(right side) - "Change date, tiime, or number formats" - "Administrative" - "Change system locate". "
the only thing i added ,after following the instructions, at the last step there is a box saying : "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" and it must be checked!

Worked for me!
