Villianese troops

Hi everyone

There's something a don't understand about Villianese Duchy: they are like a welsh medieval army, saxons or something related, but they use sabres and the royal items seems like from a eastern kingdom. It simply doesn't fit well.
In my humble opinion, the royal items should be simple and the infantry should wear blunt weapons, nord swords or hans axes.

What do you think?

Yeah, but not only for taking prisoners 
It's also a matter of aesthetics and concordance with the army.

Is there any easy way to change the sabres for other weapons? How can I do it?

read it somewhere, but forgot. You got to keep in mind however, it's a fantasy, this mod, not really based on any specific nation. The only one I could slightly place was the marinian as being the italian city states. I also think in the description villian was an idylic (spelling) place of contemplation of woodland groves (decorated with rotting corpses if you worship the dark one) and hilly forests. Now, if you canfind the contemplation in the welsh land, fine with me

Well...yes, you are right. But I still think it would be great if the regular infantry had blunt weapons
