Really, though, play with smoke turned on. It gives you a pretty unfair advantage otherwise.

I thought about that, actually. But you can tell that he's not running the game on minimal settings (it's all better than how I play it, and his anti-aliasing seems very high) while it's all running much smoother than my game does.

It doesn’t really matter, my brother's machine is a beast but he still has problems with smoke especially during volleys.
