Very frequent crashes

I have no idea what's going on, as it would very seldom happen before the latest patches, the last time I played before 2.023 was 2.020 I think.

I am running the game on the same exact specs, I haven't changed any settings from before and I just can't understand what's going on.

I must admit it is the first time I have ever played the story mode campaign, as previously I would only play random sandboxes, so it might be related to that?

It is just unplayable at the moment, I have to save every 30 seconds. The crashes seems to happen all the time while on the world map, especially while sailing on my ship.

I even tried to downgrade my nvidia drivers as I heard the new versions could have problems with older games, but nope, it isn't due to any graphic glitch, to me it looks like some crash that happens while the game is doing background checks of the scripts or whatever...

I can only add that I tried to make a quick random campaign in native, and I remained for about 2 weeks game time running around the map and fighting random looters without any crash, I'll try the same with a normal random campaign of viking conquest as well, but I have the feeling it is due to the story campaign, that or some of my tweaks, even if it wasn't much and it all looked like pretty harmless stuff to change/remove and when tested it seemed to all work fine.
However since I started this story campaign for the first time is when the problems started to arise.

1) you need to post a rgl_log.txt from when you play VC, not Native. They are different.
2) you need to test your game without any tweaks. Devs don't support the game when you change the .txt files, as they can't test or guarantee any change you made
3) savegame is not compatible for devs once you use tweaks

TLDR: reinstall VC vanilla and test it out. Report back if you have crashs.

Well I tried a sandbox campaign, 30+ days of running around just to test, 0 crashes with my modded version. To me it looks like the problem is with the story campaign.

I understand the reasoning about not supporting tweaked versions, it's a shame not being able to understand what is causing the problem, but if the choice is between my modded version and the playing the story, I guess I'll just stick with playing sandbox campaigns for the time being, a shame but I don't really feel like starting the story again from scratch and unmodded.

My loss, anyways thanks for the help.
