Thousands of bandits spawn in towns!

This keeps happening, Please help me!

I got one of those common farmer quests where they tell you their village is under attack.. So i went to the village and found that I have to fight 1000 bandits with 1000 villagers... And its not in waves.. They all spawn at the same time!. So you can imagine how bad my computer lags when im in a battlefield with 2000 people.

I did go to settings and I have the battlesize set on 90.. not that big.. but that did nothing. And I did check the game integrity on steam.
I am playing on the Prophecy of Pendor module, if that means anything.

Oh sorry for putting this in the wrong place, thanks for moving it.
And yes I did cheat my level up really high. Any way to fix this problem?

Export your character to .txt and edit the XP down to a more reasonable level and then import back. (Legal levels are <63...legitimate levels typically <40ish)
