Let me tell you a story my fellow Bannerlord consumers about a warrior man and his stubborn wife.
There once was a man named Arlech. Arlech like many who came before him, fought to earn his way into the lords court. The court of the Battanians, where he served to defend their lands from the Aseri fighting off a 1,000 strong force in the battle of primessos river. Arlech also was married to a woman named Alynneth. Whom he wooed through having strong relations with her father.
However,for some strange reason Alynneth had a very strange tendency to teleport to the only castle he owned Kranirog. No matter where Arlech said Alynneth should stay, she always (Some may say magically) teleported back to Kranirog. This in itself did not disturb Arlech too much, however, not only did she teleport back to Kranirog Castle she proceeded to assume governership over the entirety of the lands... lands which were originally Sturgian and as such she gained negative loyalty from governing them. This slowed production so much to the point where the Castallan's office actually went backwards in production (Somehow.) without an open rebellion the office was at negative 1,284% built and had been worked on for 21 days. This was a problem as there was still a thick war raging between Battania and Aseri and Arlech and his warriors were needed to man the defense across the southern border. Arlech did not have time to micro manage Governership at Kranirog.
Arlech and his wife Alynneth had two children already and Arlech had figured that was enough. While he was manning the defense he left his long time companion Kyraslava Longknife in charge of Kranirog Castle. As a native Sturgian she knew the customs and was able to keep house far better than Alynneth...however, (some may call it an overide of player choice, but I don't know why.) Alynneth insisted that she be the governer of Kranirog while she stay there with Kyraslava. This forced much conflict and production and rebellious tendentious proceeded to grow. So much to the point where Arlech had to come back to the Castle and whisk his wife into the war against the Aseri. While having Zero combat skills in literally everything she managed to kill many a foe with her Rhomphalia and bow alongside her husband...while pregnant. This may seem strange to some, but Alynneth not only managed to seduce her husband into conceiving not one but two children during the war against the Aseri. This was all on the war campaign that she was on specifically because she refused to let Kyraslava Longknife work with the native Sturgian culture and ease tensions between battania and the sturgian locals. As such she spent most of the time pregnant, but with no determinable negative effects. On the Fourth child she died in childbirth. (Probably due to the fact that she had been marching pregnant for days) and while Arlech was initially sad, he grew to have mixed feelings about his wives passing. As the war between Aseri and Battania came to a close he was broke from the prosperity being so irreparably destroyed by his wives neglect of Sturgian customs and as such he had to release over 100 veteran warriors because he could not afford to pay them and also maintain rents at his derelict castle.
He slowly moved on to accept Kyraslava as an "unofficial spouse" as not only was she too old to have any more kids, but she also was not a stubborn mule of a woman whom was possessed by what some might call an "other worldly entity" to actively harm his financial prospects and seduce him into having an infinite number of children.
