There's already a pistol and musket in Warband, and a separate firearms skill, they're just hidden in native. Takes all of about five minutes to add them back in with the mod system, probably quicker using one of the editing tools.
Pistol was added in .710 of M&B, which was about a year before WFaS was announced let alone released.Proteus said:perhaps because they were added with warband but not available with the original M&B
Because it would be redundant. Firearms was functionally the same as crossbow in the first place; but if you wanted to use the actual firearm rather than crossbow tag you'd need to replicate the various additional functions the crossbow has (like shield piercing) if you wanted to apply it to firearms, which is pretty pointless when the code already exists on something you're not already using.Makes one wonder why they weren´t used by the creators of WFaS then
So long as it uses none of the WFaS campaign/mp game mode/in-battle (any kind of) codes either.TMAN78 said:So a mod made in WFAS with no native items could be ported to Warband?
If the models/textures are created by the users, yes. If they are just re-skinned Warband items, then it is safest to say no.Bad Idea said:Can modified warband resources be ported, like the kind of things you would find in an OSP pack?
