The serial key "activation code" problem

Hello I'm probobly one of the 1000000000th people having this problem and asking/complaing for help

But when I try to do the "add game " on "my games" on the taleworld site ( on my accont)

The serial gets too long... is that serial only for? activeiting the game? and if so how or why didnt I get the serial number to register the game online?

IT's 5-5-5-5-5

and for some reason it should be 4-4-4-4

BTW : I'm from EU , maybe that has something to do with it? and the game is warband

yeah i'm having the exact same problem. I think you're supposed to change your key code with Steam but idk how to do that. :\

Open Steam, right-click Warband in the Library, select 'View game CD key'.

After you activate your game with Steam, go to Steam-Library and you can see your Serial Key there.
Use it to activate the game on TW. Or to activate the game downloaded from TW.
