Uurrrm, it seems voice acting is somewhat of a tender subject at the moment but i'm English. I'm also doing drama at university so if you want me to do any voice acting for the English i would be more than willing. Though i dont really know how to send my voice acting to you  but im sure i could work it out. But if you do want my help speak now because i go back to uni in three weeks and we are having internet problems up there.

While white trousers were worn, French infantry were not issued trousers and as such had to purchase their own. In Spain they tended to were brown or ochre trousers made from local cloth.

Either way, trousers were generally only worn on the march; soldiers usually trying clean up and dress decently for pitched battle. Though with all aspects of Napoleonic uniforms, that was by no means universal.

You can clearly speak English - you've seen some of the offers .... - so if nothing else you'll get a serious response.
As far as technology goes, that can be sorted out easily enough.

No they shouldn't, those are pre-1812 uniforms. They're even still using bicornes.

before warband came along and ruined everything there was an alpha that the mod team tested.  Then you lot with your warband insisted on it, and the decision was made to make the mod for warband, which has set things back somewhat.

So, the mod that will be released, is not the one that was started on 4 years ago - that was a Mount & Blade mod.  The mod that will be released will be a warband mod.  Obviously that requires a lot of work to be done again, differently, and with ever fewer comitted helpers.

And is there a beta? Not for you, the unwashed public.

Why? For explaining that the mod has had to be developed from scratch for Warband? If someone says something incorrect about the mod then the mod team are entitled to clarify the issue; for the benefit of him and the rest of the people who read the thread. The 'unwashed public' comment is a tongue in cheek term for the people outside the mod team, not something to be offended by.

As for the beta, either the mod team will decide on a beta or not, depending on whether they think it useful to do. This request from romansrule sounds like he just wants a beta so he can satisfy his eagerness to play the game, which is understandable but not a good reason to make the request. Betas aren't typically done just to give an early play of the game, they are done to bug test and get player feedback on the mod/game. It is extra time and work to make a beta because typically the game won't be in a playable state during development, it will need tinkering with to make it usable. If they do decide to release a beta, then it will be when they feel they have the mod in a condition which will make a good impression (thus not turning off people if they think it is very buggy or lacking in features), so it isn't likely to come out just because someone asks for it. The primary reason that anyone asks for a beta is almost always because they are eager to play the mod, rather than thinking it is important for the mod's completion and popularity.
