Hello There

I dont care too much for the reshade for floris evolved

I just want the normal shade back is there a way to disable reshader

or return the original shade?
 
Hello, I'm unsure if I'm in the right place if not, please redirect me.

I recently got the steam warband game but it's in version 1.173 and I can't find a Floris version that is supported with that warband version. Is there any? If not: Can I downgrade my warband down to 1.153, how?
 
I wouldn't worry about that. I've played Floris 2.54 on Warband 1.168 with no problem, and 1.173 is just 1.168 with HD textures and few minor bugfixes.

Hi all, this is a rather minscule problem that I have. My favorite weapon in the game is the Great Axe, this one: mountandblade.wikia.com/wiki/Great_Axe (I can't post links yet sorry, first post ever:smile:)

Now this weapon seems to be in Floris and I can access it through the cheat menu, however none of the merchants seem to be selling it at any town (I would have guessed it would be sold at nord towns, since in vanilla this used to be one of the huscarls weapons, but I'm constantly checking all cities without any luck).

So basically what I'm asking is either, how to add this weapon into the stock of shops, so that i can buy a "Heavy" quality version of it, or is it even possible to add a "Heavy Great Axe" directly into my characters inventory? Sorry if I'm asking trivial questions, this is my first time posting, thank you all who read this and try to help!
 
You can get it directly through cheat menu, but it will be without modifiers. Or you can add it yourself to shops. Download Morgh's editor, it's somewhere here on forums, you should be able to find it quickly. Run it, direct it to your Floris module directory, run item editor, find your desired item, make sure that the merchandise option in the middle left collumn is checked, abundance is set to integer between 1 and 100 (higher value means it will show up in shops more often), desired modifier is enabled in the right collumn, and in bottom right there either isn't any faction checked at all, or the faction/culture checked actually holds any town ingame.

Then just click update item, then save. The desired item should be showing up in shops after their next refresh, so within 7 ingame days. Keep in mind that it's always just chance, it might not be always available.

I think I have a small problem in game. It is about my Dyeworks. My enterprises give me ~500 denars/week, but sometimes only Dyeworks generate ~-1000 denasrs/week. Example :
1st week - +500
2nd week - +550
.
.
5th week - +500
6th week - -1100
7th week - -1000
8th week - -1120
9th week - +500
etc etc.
Is it ok or something went wrong?
 
Hi folks. Small problem.
I've installed the most recent version of floris (expanded, from ModDB), onto my steam installation of M&B. Fresh new installation, installed Floris straight away, and at first I was okay. Started a character, played a bit, maybe a month into the game then decided to start over. Today I've started 2 new characters and both have been riddled with CTDs and the first one's save became corrupted.
Crashes only occur on the overworld - never in battle or town. Sometimes immediately when resting at a town or castle, other times when simply travelling. Game freezes, hangs, sometimes audio cuts out and sometimes it doesn't. After a little while I alt-tab out and the program closes without any error message a moment later. My first save became corrupted (I *think* it happened after one of these crashes but can't say for sure) with the following symptoms:
- Many characters naked.
- Most merchants had no stock and 0 gold.
- Character's face became thin and bald.

So, the steps I'm taking to try to remedy this:
Updated graphics drivers.
Trying to download standalone version 1.153 of Warband (doesn't help that Taleworld's servers appear to be dead).
Set up automatic hourly backup of my save folder.

Now obviously the latter is hardly a fix and I could still lose up to 59 minutes of progress, more if I don't notice a save becomes corrupted straight away.
I assume that 1.153 will fix some of my issues but... Googling has found bugs that match my own showing up for people using 1.153.
I guess my main questions are:
- Are these known bugs?
- Can anybody suggest a fix?
- Is Floris Evolved worth looking at? I never use submods, they always seem unprofessional and buggy in my experience but does Evolved feature any bugfixes?

My game is messed up and I don't know why and I don't know how to fix it. Game always ran perfectly with no issues before. Some issues :

When I hit backspace to show the interface in battle with different troop categories, instead of showing the regular battle in the backround, it shows the standard solid background you see at the end of a battle which looks like paper or something. Hitting backspace again just causes the interface to go away but then the solid background stays, and I can't see anything while the battle is still going on. Only way to get out of this is to hit escape then hit done. I also cannot hit backspace to see this interface anymore when I die in battle.

I'm missing mod options I used to have. Specifically, there is no option for bandit heroes and how many bandit parties they can have accompanying them. Probably missing other options, but not certain.

Arrows and bolts have different damage values than before, and much higher numbers. For example, gromite arrows say +10 damage, steel bolts say +20 damage. Not sure what the damage was before. These seem like Pendor's damage values for noldor arrows and siege bolts, which I played before this. Is it possible pendor is infecting my game, even though I uninstalled that? Bows are also extremely slow.

I tried uninstalling the game several times, but no dice. These problems now effect all my previous saves which didn't have the problems before. A couple things I did since then was use TweakMB which I hadn't used before, but my games are still broken when I uninstall and launch the game BEFORE using tweakmb. Any solutions?

You need to update to 2.55 (or newer, if available). This issue was patched in the more "recent" versions.
 
Actually, still can't press backspace in battle anymore after I die... and battle reinforcement waves not working. battles still go on for more than 1 round, unlike how they used to.
 
Good day.

I have problems with trying to set sail with one of my boats. I originally posted this on Steam forums and was told to ask help here. And for the record: i haven't edited any txt files or done anything that would cause this (to my knowing anyway). I'm also using the Floris Evolved mod.

So this is the original post i made:

"So i've been playing this game for a while now (with the Floris Evolved mod) and everything has been working great, however for the first time i decided to buy a boat/ship and see what happens. Well i CAN buy the boat without any problems, rename it and give some of my troops to it.

However when i click accept/ok when adding the troops to my ship, i get this error message on my screen:

"SCRIPT ERROR ON OPCODE 2330: INVALID PARTY ID:-1; LINE NO: 76.
AT PRESENTATION [98] PRSNT_MANAGE_SHIPS TRIGGER [0]."

At first this did not effect my game in anyway, but when i tried to set sail with my ship i got a message saying:

"You don't own a ship or your crew exceeds the boundaries"

And yes i have given atleast 30 troops to my ship, i'm also trying to set sail from the town i purchased the ship from.

Now i'm not 100% sure if that message is related to the error message above but it might be..?

I have been trying to Google that error message above but that "opcode 2330" seems to be kinda a "general" error message, meaning that it doesnt just happen with ships, but everything else. So no luck that way.

I'd appreciate if anyone could help me, i know i'm propably asking for a miracle since even google doesnt really know the answer but oh well.

Cant really support Floris Evolved (it is not made by us and I never looked at their code).

Do note that the maximum crew refers to players + present assigned crew. So you may be over the limit. At least IIRC.
