Some thing I have noticed during my time playing Bannerlords is that Spear Bracing although something in the AI arsenal isn't really used. Some of the variables that affect this make it almost useless unless the circumstances are right for the AI to brace. For example:
1. You need a troop with a weapon that is Braceable.
2. They have to be facing a cavalry charge with enough time to Brace.
3. They must be in Line formation
I feel that this amazing feature is very underutilised, I believe that turning this Line formation feature into a formation of it's own would give players much more utility with spear/ pike troops. Overall the Spear Bracing at the moment is very limited and I hope this Suggestion to turn it into a formation is heard with a lending ear as although yes probably a great deal of work it would give new life to this feature.
I believe the way to make this feature more useable would be to apply a command within the Line Formations similar to how the F3 button brings up other commands. This would allow the feature to be utilized within the current framework you have already established with Battle Orders.
