sending caravans and spouse

Did anyone had an issue with sending wife with caravan? I couldn't do that, maybe because she was pregnant or is it impossible to send spouse with caravan?

I don't think there is a problem with her being Pregnant because she can lead a party in this state without issues (not sure how she fits in her armor though). It might however have to do with being in a Caravan. From what I can tell, your spouse acts like a lord so that might be a conflict somehow.
