Passive trade XP

Has anyone else noticed since the last patch that the main character gains passive trade xp by time passing? I think it is related to the ownership of workshops.

Yes, I believe the workshops now give trade experience.

Upon further testing: I think the only time the workshops give XP is when you make them store the final products in the warehouse.

I do not think trade caravans benefit the player's trade XP.
