In sandbox I can assign each individual group of troop into different section to command in battle using number keys. I'd like to be able to do the same thing in custom battle so I can test more advanced strategies. For example I might want 2 groups of archers and 2 groups of cavalry, 1 skirmisher inf (javelin troop) and 1 heavy inf. Right now its locked to the standard groups. Unlock this and also allow individual troop selection and allocation.

Surely there must be a way. How come when the AI is a battle commander they have two groups of regular cavalry, but players are not able to do this?
